Langford & Chamberlayne were asked by Whitgift School, a leading Independent School in South Croydon, to quote for the supply and installation of an outside double Walk-In Chiller that could withstand the rigours of the variable British weather.

In addition, the Walk-In Chiller needed to be able to be dismantled at some point in the future and re-built inside a new building being planned.

A suitable area for the new cold rooms was identified near to the kitchen loading bay and the school lay the concrete base and ran a suitable power supply.

Langford & Chamberlayne brought in Celltherm Coldrooms to help with the project. Celltherm Colrooms are a German manufacturer and their cold rooms come with the high quality of finish that you would expect from a German company.

A week was identified for the installation to take place and the Chef now has added cold storage space that can be re-used in any future building project.
