Purley Sports Club approached Langford & Chamberlayne to see what could be done to improve the output of food from a very small kitchen that only relied on a 6 burner gas oven, two gas fryers and a couple of microwaves. After a discussion on the type & style of food they wished to produce and the functions that they ran, it was quickly identified that the new 5 Senses Rational Self Cooking Centre would suit their purposes and greatly improve the quality and quantity of food produced.
Access was the main issue, in the end, the door & door frame that gains entry in to the kitchen had to be removed. New electrics along with water & waste were run to the installation position. Once the installation was completed and the site tidied up, Chefs training on the new Rational was organised. The Sports Club are now using the Self Cooking Centre to provide high quality fare for all of their functions and have found that they save time & money in the process.
“Purley Sports Club needed to improve both the consistency of quality food being prepared whilst ensuring all meals get served in optimum condition to the table. We also needed the ability to increase output for functions from the kitchen. Our additional requirement was to be able to broaden our food menu from a small and space limited Kitchen. Langford & Chamberlayne came up with the solution and supplied & installed a new Rational Combi. This solved all our problems and the cost came in at below budget. Langford & Chamberlayne kept us informed all the way, from initial enquiry to installation. They also organised Chef’s training for our Kitchen Staff. I could not have asked for a more helpful Company to help us with this project.”
